Alpha Omega was founded by Robin and Michelle Baggett and opened its doors on July 1, 2006, on Highway 29 along the Rutherford Bench. From the start it brought in winemaking talent from Newton Vineyards, including a former winemaker and assistant winemaker. Alpha Omega sources from a roster of well-known vineyards, including the Thomas Vineyard and the Beckstoffer To Kalon Vineyard, and is best known for Cabernet Sauvignon and Bordeaux-style blends, along with Chardonnay. The winery uses custom stainless steel tanks made in Chile and displays work by local artists in its private tasting rooms. Alpha Omega celebrated its 20th anniversary in 2026.
