Arbuckle Ridge Winery is helmed by Scott Saunders, a fifth-generation Paso Robles vintner, whose family's Saunders Vineyard gave the winery its name — Arbuckle refers to the region's dominant soil series found across the property. After years working in the vineyard and winery trade, Saunders released his own label focused on bold reds, including a Bordeaux-style blend and single-varietal bottlings of Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Malbec, Petit Verdot, Grenache, Mourvèdre, Graciano, Cinsault, and Counoise, sourced from the home vineyard as well as fruit from the Willow Creek District. The tasting room is open by appointment, with vineyard tours and lawn games rounding out the visit.
