Arrow & Branch was founded in 2008 by Steve and Seanne Contursi, who started with a 3.5-acre estate vineyard in Coombsville bought from winemaker Tony Soter, then added 1.5 more acres in 2011. In 2020 they expanded again with L'attitude Vineyards, purchased from Bob and Joni Williamson. Winemaker and partner Jennifer Williams leads the cellar, and the lineup centers on several Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignons, along with a Right Bank-style blend, a Cabernet Franc and, more recently, a Sauvignon Blanc. For years the brand worked without a home of its own, but on July 30, 2024, Arrow & Branch opened its own winery and tasting room at 5215 Solano Avenue in the Oak Knoll District, near Yountville. Coombsville, in the cooler southeastern corner of Napa Valley, gives the Cabernets a fresher, more savory edge than many valley-floor wines, and Arrow & Branch is one of the producers that has helped put the district on collectors' radar.
