Barbour Vineyards is a St. Helena estate founded in 1992 by renowned Napa Valley viticulturist Jim Barbour and his wife Kathy — Jim grew up on his family's ranch in nearby Rutherford before becoming one of the valley's most sought-after vineyard managers, having planted or farmed sites for Grace Family, Hundred Acre, Blankiet, and Pride. His own vineyard produced just 50 cases in its first 1995 vintage; today Celia Welch crafts the wine, continuing a run that began with Heidi Barrett as founding winemaker.
