Blankiet Estate was founded in 1996 by Claude and Katherine Blankiet on a hillside above Yountville's Napanook Vineyard, land once part of Domaine Chandon's holdings. Viticulturist David Abreu and winemaker Helen Turley developed the 16-acre Paradise Hills site into four distinct micro-sections; the estate later pioneered a block-by-block vineyard misting system to protect fruit during heat spikes. Its Mythicvs, a 100% Cabernet Sauvignon, has scored a perfect 100 points in seven of its last eight vintages.
