Buena Vista Winery holds the distinction of being California's oldest premium winery, founded in 1857 by Hungarian immigrant Agoston Haraszthy in the Sonoma Valley. Haraszthy is often credited as the father of California viticulture, importing hundreds of European grape varieties that shaped the state's wine industry. Today Buena Vista continues to honor this pioneering legacy with a diverse portfolio spanning Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Cabernet Sauvignon, produced from Carneros and Sonoma County vineyards.
