Domaine Drouhin Oregon was founded in 1987 by Burgundy's Drouhin family, the same house behind Joseph Drouhin, after they identified the Dundee Hills as a New World site suited to Pinot Noir and Chardonnay. Véronique Drouhin-Boss, trained in the family's Beaune cellars, has overseen winemaking since the estate's early vintages, applying Burgundian technique to Oregon's volcanic Jory soils.
