Foyt Family Wines was founded by cousins A.J. Foyt IV and Larry Foyt as a tribute to racing legend A.J. Foyt Jr., known as "Super Tex," the only driver in history to win the Indianapolis 500, the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the Daytona 500, and the 24 Hours of Daytona. The label produces small-lot wines, generally 200 cases or fewer per varietal, sourced from vineyards across Napa and Sonoma counties and crafted by winemakers Nicholas Hess, Tom Meadowcroft, and Petar Kirilov. Its Foyt Winery and Museum tasting room in Fredericksburg, Texas opened in 2021 at 38 Jenschke Lane, pairing the wines with a collection of A.J. Foyt's race cars, helmets, and racing memorabilia; a second tasting room operates in Speedway, Indiana, near the Indianapolis Motor Speedway.
