Founded in 2006 by Manuel Pires, who grew up on his grandfather's quinta in Portugal's Douro Valley, Gandona sits high on Pritchard Hill above Lake Hennessey. Working with winemaker Philippe Melka, the estate makes Cabernet plus a rare Napa Touriga Nacional port-style wine called Fraga do Arco.
