Founded in 2002 by Justin Hunnicutt Stephens, a UC Berkeley graduate who left commercial real estate to learn the trade as a cellar hand at Miner Family Winery. The winery sits above an 18,000-square-foot cave carved into volcanic rock, with wines made by childhood friend Kirk Venge.
