Louis M. Martini opened its St. Helena winery in 1933, at the moment of Prohibition's repeal, and became one of Napa Valley's defining Cabernet Sauvignon houses. Famed for wines from the Monte Rosso Vineyard high in the Mayacamas, the brand is now part of the Gallo family portfolio, which restored the historic St. Helena winery into a showcase hospitality estate.
