One of Napa's oldest mountain wineries, Mayacamas traces to 1889, was revived by chemist Jack Taylor in 1941, and found its defining voice under Bob Travers, who bought the estate in 1968 at just 30 years old. Now owned by the Schottenstein family with winemaker Andy Erickson, it remains known for old-school, minimal-intervention Cabernet and Chardonnay.
