Paloma is a small family vineyard high on Spring Mountain that produced one of Napa's great Cinderella stories: its 2001 Merlot was named Wine Spectator's #1 Wine of the Year in 2003. The estate remains tiny and family-farmed, producing mountain-grown Merlot and Syrah of uncommon depth.
