RG|NY (RGNY) was founded in 2019 after the Mexican winery Bodega Rivera González, led by CEO Maria Rivero González, purchased the former Martha Clara Vineyard site on Long Island's North Fork. The winery was deliberately drawn to Long Island as an "underdog" wine region offering room for experimentation, and it maintains small research plots at both its North Fork and Mexico properties studying soil health and viticulture. RGNY's range includes a white Merlot and sparkling Riesling made using amphora and other unconventional techniques.
