Entrepreneur Leslie Rudd transformed the former Girard Winery site into Rudd Estate in Oakville, bringing in winemaker David Ramey to craft the earliest vintages before Charles Thomas took over. The estate is known for its two flagship wines, Samantha's Cabernet Sauvignon and the Estate Red, alongside a small-production Sauvignon Blanc.
