Spottswoode is a St. Helena estate built around an 1882 Victorian farmhouse, purchased by the Novak family in 1972 and certified organic since 1985 — among the earliest in Napa Valley to farm that way. The family-run winery is known for a benchmark Sauvignon Blanc and an estate Cabernet Sauvignon from vines surrounding the historic homestead, and has been led by four generations of Novak women across its history.
