Staglin Family Vineyard farms a Rutherford Bench estate first planted in 1864, whose fruit once went into Beaulieu Vineyard's famed Georges de Latour Private Reserve under legendary winemaker André Tchelistcheff. Garen and Shari Staglin bought the property in 1985 and have farmed it organically since 1990, producing estate Cabernet Sauvignon from the same "Rutherford dust" terroir, alongside a Chardonnay planted simply because Shari prefers white wine — unusual for this part of the valley.
