Stag's Leap Wine Cellars earned a permanent place in wine history when its 1973 S.L.V. Cabernet Sauvignon won the red wine flight of the 1976 Judgment of Paris, beating first-growth Bordeaux and announcing Napa Valley to the world. Founded by Warren Winiarski, the estate produces the celebrated FAY and S.L.V. single-vineyard Cabernets and the flagship CASK 23, and is today owned by a partnership of Ste. Michelle Wine Estates and Italy's Antinori family.
