Vineyard 29 takes its name from Highway 29, the road running past its St. Helena estate. Founded in the late 1990s, the winery farms two distinct hillside sites — the estate Vineyard 29 property and the Aida Vineyard — each bottled separately to reflect their differing soils, alongside a more widely available Cru wine, all released through a small annual mailing list allocation.
