Wolffer Estate Vineyard was founded by the late Christian Wölffer on former potato fields in Sagaponack, in Long Island's Hamptons (South Fork) region. Winemaker Roman Roth, who joined for Wölffer's first vintage in 1992, crafts the estate's European-influenced wines, including a dry rosé that helped pioneer the now-signature Hamptons style at a time when most regional rosés were sweet. The estate operates with a strong sustainability focus alongside its winery, restaurants, and stable.
